Dagoberto Rodríguez Sánchez nació en Caibarién, la Villas en 1969 y se licenció en el Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA), La Habana,Cuba en 1994. En 1992 fue cofundador del colectivo Los Carpinteros. Su trabajo ha sido expuesto en museos e instituciones alrededor detodo el mundo y forma parte de colecciones tales como el MOMA, Whitney Museum of American Art o Guggenheim de New York,Centre Georges Pompidou de París, Tate Modern de Londres o el Museo Centro de Arte Reina Sofía de Madrid entre otros.
Actualmente vive y trabaja entre Madrid. Su trabajo combina, arquitectura, diseño y escultura y emplea el humor y la ironía para reflexionarsobre temas fundamentales en torno al arte, la política o la sociedad.

In 1992 he co-founded the collective Los Carpinteros.
